Fighting fires begins long before that first spark becomes a flame
It starts with preparation. That includes the most up-to-date education and training. We owe it to the men and women who risk their lives each day to protect our communities to make sure they have the very best in training, equipment and support. The NC Firefighters Fund is dedicated to raising funds to ensure North Carolina's firefighters are better trained, better educated and better equipped to meet the unique challenges of their profession.
Where the money goes
Our commitment to being open and inclusive includes financial disclosure and accurate representation of our policies and practices. Ninety percent of funds are directly returned to firefighters through NCFF programs and initiatives. The rest goes towards administrative costs.
